Well here's my little story. I was down doing the grocery shopping on Saturday and just strolling along pushing the trolly and all of a sudden I heard Catch The Wind. Well I stopped in my tracks and just stood in the middle of the pathway. I was in a world of my own. They were playing the songs off the album at random throughout the whole shopping centre. What a way to do your shopping. It was lovely.

It does stop you in your tracks when you hear it played randomly like that. What great exposure for Damien and Catch the Wind

That's fantastic Sister. I had a similar heart stopping experience driving into Canberra last week. I'd just tuned the radio into one of the local stations when I heard the beginning of Old Man. I couldn't believe it! Damien was singing Old Man on the radio! After the song, the DJ was plugging Damien's concert that night.

I just listened to the album again (its been played over a hundred times) and its just as beautiful as the first time i played of it.
You never tire of it like you do some albums.
Agree?

Absolutely rivers! It's the same with the WWL album. I hadn't listened to it for a while, too caught up with CTW. Oh my, WWL is stunningly beautiful to the ear, as is anything Damien sings.

Over 5 months since album release and still listening to it exclusively, several times a day. is this a sign of total obsession?
anyway a nice story... a friend came over to use the computer today and i happened to have CTW playing in the background and within about 5 minutes, he is singing along and really getting into it.
He knew of Damien but I dont think he appreciated the talents of Damien like he did once he heard the album. anyway it was sweet. one thing he said.. It makes amazing background music. you can do what you have to do (work, read).. and you can enjoy the music all at the same time.
So all damienites have the task to introduce the album to at least 3 friends haha.
