Reckon most of what happened has been reported and I won't be able to add too much. It was an extremely courageous performance on Wednesday
as Damien was really coughing and had a very husky voice. I think perhaps he felt he just had to perform as if everything was hunky dory. Those of us who hear Damien live whenever we can were immediately aware of what was happening and he certainly sang in a lower register where he could, which sounded terrific anyway. He has an amazing voice that sounds great in almost any key. I do suspect Eric is becoming more comfortable with the
tarts ladeeees when they call out Helloooo Eric

;D. He seemed like a really nice guy, who was happy to chat with us. He was a touch cagey though, because when D told us about Eric going to Gwam
and he introduced Jimmy as someone who was a better Guitarist than Eric
I someone yelled out, but can he sing and the response was No, can you see a mic......However, Indi spilled the beans on Jimmy as I asked her if she was taking over Eric's harmony when we were talking to her on the Thursday and she said no, Jimmy can sing hhmmm
cheeky devil! ;D.
When D was doing the intro to Not Just For The Weekend and he talked about this little guy looking up at his dad and saying 'how ya going' very smart child, someone yelled out ohh handsome and smart!!!(we had been thoroughly brainwashed by then into the handsome belief
) D turned around and smiled , 'Now I didn't say handsome, but....... ;D and of course he beamed in agreement.
During the interval in the ladies, there was a fair amount of gushing (along with the flushing) amongst the ladies in there about D's gorgeous and amazing voice and the wonderful musicians, so they were not aware of how ill poor D was- unbelievable performer.
Did manage to hand Krissy's certificate to the stage and Damien read it out, but read from Eric, which certainly got some laughs, especially after the photoshop job on Eric in his speedos
and of course those guys boasted about their abs
. It's great how Damien and Eric bounce off each other. ;D Also managed to get Braffy's rose to D, but Eric ended up with mine, which was nice any way, because we had a chat with him and Indi at the end of the show. Tossed the red fishnet stockings onto the stage, but too close to the finish and don't think D saw them. So they were initially given to Eric, then Indi.
Forgot to mention that when D took his coat off, after the first song....poor love was hot, but we agreed
and did the woohooo call and yes. He really did look cute and smexy with the collar up at the back, even though I'm sure he felt like crap
He certainly never looks it.
Loved the singing and the amazing dancing and absolutely overjoyed there was a piano there.....just beautiful!! I managed to score the playlist, so we saw how the order had been changed and 2 songs not done. But we completely understood why. We were sitting there waiting to see what would happen at the end, when we saw D putting on his coat and walking out, but he turned around to face where we were and waved and put both hands up in the air as if to say "sorry...what can I do"
We were all worried for D by then as his voice was very husky and he had the huge night of filming to come.
...fingers crossed all goes well for the filming tonight!!! 
...but you'll get the idea of how gorgeous it was
