As for the dancing... I'm going to really try to get Damien's Sampler of his 5 dance moves uploaded cause it's a scream! There were these big lights/speakers lining the front of the stage so that from the floor it's hard to see what their feet are doing. So when Damien was doing the cossack dance I'd say a lot of people were sitting up in their seats to try to see what the hell he was doing. But they didn't have to cause when he fell flat on his rear (after some amazing Calves-of-Power-Kicks) those white and black converses flew up into the air for all to see but then he so deftly jumped up to his feet like an athlete with a huge ;D and heaps of applause Damien also mentioned about "trying to do that [the dance] in these jeans!" (looking in the direction of Table A3 ). There were a couple of "whistles' from the table on the other side of me.

When he played Hotel California I recognised the tune but couldn't remember what it was, so he can't have sung much of it I don't think. I'm pretty sure he didn't sing the "Welcome to the Hotel California" bit because then I would have realised what it was. And also he only sang the first bit of Kiss (up until the "...KISS" part). It would be cool if he could sing more than just snippets, but I guess he's only just learning the songs. And also I suppose there's a good thing about him singing only snippets - it means we get to hear more songs. ;D

What was the really long guitar part they played at the start of Beautiful? Was it just something they added in or was it part of another song?

This show has pretty much been covered and it really was quite awesome. Funny Carla that you said black, black, black to me cause it was already written, it was hard to hear what you lovelies were saying at the front, unless there was a quiet pause.....the only thing I had written was the wardrobe and had to turn around to Nuffy and ask her what the first song was a little strange, as I'd just listened to it . Sorry about the trip to Sydney ladies, it was pretty rugged in my little car, with a full load and that %&*#*@!!!* GPS thing telling me lies!!!! "You're speeding!" doing 50 in a 60 zone outside a school ....on a saturday . She got hers back later by taking us to 2 incorrect streets, neither of which were near Revesby Railway Station poor Womby missed her first train! By the time Braffy and I got back to the Hotel, we crawled into the room on our hands and knees . It was great to meet up with Maggie May and Nuffy at the Club and the food was great....thank you Nuffy Had a giggle when the guys fronted up in front of their leopard skin jocks and fluoro orange undies. Damien, do you have any idea how amazing those songs that are "added" come across. You really rocked that place.....just loved your versions . After D sang Beautiful roses were placed on the stage. But we did manage to do quite a bit of PR work at Revesby...hmmmm better check my supply of Smiley's cards!!! ;D There were people at Braffy's table, down near Nuffy, over at Maggie May's table and the ladies at the next table , hope they come and have a look, cause they seem pretty keen on becoming D followers Really glad that Crying won the contest between Crying and Danny Boy, sorry D I know you've said how that song takes it out of you, but you are so great doing it. Thank you to Eric and Jimmy for coming out to see us Was lovely to see you again Spud and to meet Mash Physically, I think I'm only just starting to recover. I am the world's worst traveller.

Aww Dawnie! But I'll bet it was worth it! Thanks for the report ;D Sounds like your GPS is more advanced than mine...although that may not be a good thing by the sound of it! The song list is to die for

Just remembered that the ladies at the next table were asking a lot of questions and when they saw my t-shirt asked me if I was a Damienette ;D, I smiled and said close.....Damienite.....oh "...." she's one of those Damienettes!!! They were very sweet and loved the show and Damien, of course, so handed out a few of Smiley's cards there. They also hung around with us at the end of the show, hoping to see D. ;D

Dawn, that was a great report, thanks for sharing hun, I love how everyone thinks being a Damienite is like some weird Cult that we are in! or like we are some weird specis that has just been named and they all want to look at us! (well not quite that bad) I don't know how you drove that distance with all those Ladeeez in your car chattering away! I would of run off the road with distraction! quote: Had a giggle when the guys fronted up in front of their leopard skin jocks and fluoro orange undies Who did this?? .....Bwahah fluro orange undies

The fluro orange lacy undies were the ones thrown at Doyalson and the leopard skin one were from Caloundra. They were on the mic stands for Eric and Jimmy

lol one of "those" ! Damienette, Damienite, Leithlette - I remember when we first voted for names to call ourselves waaaaaaaaaay back I was voting for "the Lucky Charms"! weird "species" - lol that cracked me up Roxy! Lovely report Dawn, so glad you found your way with all that navigating, I've never used one of those things in a car, usually I'm the navigator - going to the Doylo I was spinning the map round and round trying ot figure out where we where - we have some funny stories from our road trips and thanks to Damien I'm also visiting some places I'd never been before as well!
