Aaah, sweet Krissy, never apologise for your wonderfully spontaneous reactions to D's songs! I adore your reviews, they are written directly from the heart. I write in a more contemplative fashion, but each is as valuable as the other. Please, never stop just being YOU!

I've just realised I've used the word "beautiful" about a hundred times though! Maybe that's it in a nutshell, or maybe I need my thesaurus badly!?

You don't need a thesaurus or a dictionary Trills... that was just a fantastic piece of writing. I envy you and wish I would write just half as well. Have you ever thought of doing journalism.?.. maybe we could get you into all the National papers doing reviews of Damien, now wouldn't that be good. Krissy too, I love your spontaneity and don't ever apologise for loving Damien too much or showing your true self.. we luvs you the way you are and of course you are in good company here.

Sounds like a dream job Glawz * drifts off to happyland*... But oh the pressure! Now, getting back OT. It's so FABULOUS to hear Forgive Forget on the radio now. It's such a perfect song for it! It ROCKS!

Disclaimer: When writing this review I’ve tried (not sure if I’ve succeeded, however! ) to step back a little from my raging DLOve and be as objective as possible. Geez, Trilly - it's a good thing you retained your objectivity. Otherwise that review might have been a little gushing... ;D

It's impossible to not gush (or is that a double negative?) Can't help it if I love the thing to death!

Trilly, a truly superlative review of RJ. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings, it's a great read. Any chance of you posting it to OzPop? Kris, never apologise for your spontaneity, it is one of your most endearing qualities.

RJ was released here today! It's on iTunes and I'm going to be in Dublin tomorrow for a revision course, so at lunchtime, I'm going to the closest music shop to finally get a physical copy of this amazing album!

One little thought. I said in my review that maybe the relationships in the novel D based the album on covered 12 years. I was forgetting that "Remember June "and "For All Of Time" are the album's "bookends". So, 10 years then.. I wasn't far off!

Carla I have been meaning to come into this threa and add to what you asked.... DITTO to nearly all of the above!! ;D ;D ;D the only change for me is... changing Don't Give Up and Goodnight around. I play Stay for the kiddies at work at sleep time along with a few others! Don't think they'd sleep if I played the whole album unfortunately!
