Hey peeps, release dates are always quoted as the first of the month, but in fact the books are often in the shops the week before this. We would expect to get some April releases by March 25/26th March (the Thursday and Friday). I would definitely be checking the shops on the Friday. No guarantees, and I think some shops have the books but won't unpack them, but if we have it in the warehouse, we will get it for you.

Wow, there's a new post on the official site which sort of half explains the meaning behind the title 'Remember June'! Mattie Finch is a kid living with his aunt in Ireland in 1990. He often talks to his mother, but he hasn't seen his father, Dave, for six months. Dave's been trying to face his family, but there are just too many demons. He can't forget how he and his brother, Stephen, escaped the troubles of Northern Ireland ten years earlier. He is haunted by what happened when they met June and her sister, Susan, and the irreversible changes that the town of Stonebridge brought to their lives. You can read more here.

I see on the front cover the words "The best of everything happens in summer". Doesn't Ireland have their summer in June? So I'm thinking that June might mean both a person and a month.

Wow, just noticed the cover! Am pretty sure that wasn't there when I looked at the article earlier. Thanks for letting me know, Bella. And yes, that's a good point about summer and June. Maybe it's both. I guess this is the real cover if they've posted it on the official site?

Well done 86! ;D I love the dual reference to June being both a person and the month. Very clever.

Damien told us when he showed us the book (which had that cover) that this may not be the actual cover when released. I commented and said I liked the cover and he said that was only the "demo". So we will have to wait and see if it makes the cut or if there is another cover to replace it.

Tricky tricky, Mr Leith! I LOVE that June is a month AND a character! Hah, in all our speculations I don't think we came up with that one! ;D I like the cover too. I hope it is the final one, it has a lovely, hazy, sunny retro feel about it... and yes, it makes me want to see where "that old dirt track" leads. *siigh* BRING IT ON!
