The novel: Remember June

Glawz, I just checked the relevant site (available only to bookshops) and it does indeed say 'out of stock'. The next uncommitted stock is available 31 March, which means if you ordered one at a shop now, if the shop didn't have it on order, you wouldn't get it til about mid April!
I don't know if this is a good thing - more copies ordered than they thought - or just a glitch.
If anyone is deadset desperate, I could post one from work on Monday, but postage is $8.50 on top of the price of the book We have plenty (19 at last count), probably cos the boss thought I would be hand selling them
I forgot to say that the HarperCollins rep was in on Thursday and brought me my very own free copy I'll keep that one nice and see if I can get D to sign it at some time.

Please don't anyone say anything about the story here Mind you, I think Damien gives alot away by continually saying the songs are linked to the book ...
I have to wait till maybe tomorrow, if I'm lucky, to try and find it and yes, Kath, it'll be the D-store! I still have a Christmas giftcard specially saved for these purchases

Big W are also selling at an extremely low price.....but all of their novels are discounted....I found RJ @ $18.18

I found it in Borders (sorry, Kath) and I've just now finished it.
I won't say anything about the story here, but I really enjoyed it..and now I can't wait to start talking about it with you guys in our SPOILER Review thread..and then linking it to the album.
Nuffy, the links aren't all that obvious, which is brilliant. Both projects stand alone, but now having experienced both, I see the correlations quite clearly.

Thanks for the info Kath.. I think I'll wait, only because there's so much going on here lately I won't have time to read it anyway. I think I'll get on the phone and see where I can get one...get them to hold it and send DH early in the week as I'll be at work.

I finished RJ late last night! Am going to put my thoughts together to write in the Review thread later so won't in go there til I've done that properly but want to say just for now CONGRATULATIONS to Damien!! A 2nd fantastic novel!!

I don't have a copy of RJ yet I asked at every book store at the Shopping Centre I was at on Saturday and they all said...it comes out on the 1st of April! by the time I'd heard this 3 times, I was like...Yeah, I KNOW this, but all the other States in Australia have it out now!! grrrrrrr!

I'm going to ring around tomorrow and find out if another shopping centre perhaps have it out on the shelves yet.


I'm dying to get my hands on it!
