I pre-ordered one from Sanity... also iTunes which I can't bloody download coz I don't have a computer until mid next week  Think I'll try Sanity at the while at the shopping centre coz if mine doesn't arrive in the mail I'll be devastated!! |

I've just downloaded it from iTunes, with the bonus track, 'California Blue" and am listening now too! Back later with first impressions... ;D It's later:  ;D I'M LOVING IT!!! Only The Lonely - gorgeous! Followed by Crying - fab version (as always!) I've heard him hold the penultimate note even longer live though.. The rapping on "Dream Baby" with the punchy arrangement and Damien's poppy, peppy singing is just freakin AWESOME!! Damien this just HAS to be a radio single!! Then Oh Pretty Woman, guitars/horns rock it up, with D's sexy, sexy singing..  In Dreams - goosebumps! Loving the strings, cello espesh (or is it a double bass? Thinking the latter now)..  Blue Bayou - With the McClymonts backing... so lovely!I Drove All Night - Sexy as hell! D's voice sounding absolutely amazing! Lower and middle so strong! and that top note!!  Handle With Care - Love this song (so George Harrison!) ;D Brilliant! loving the harmonies!! You Got It - Brilliant! Very Roy... ooow yeah! ;D She's A Mystery To Me - lower reg incredible! God, this is sensational! Beautiful, emotional..Liking this the best so far... Running Scared - This has a gorgeous melody and big build... D's smashing it!! It's Over - This builds so hugely... goosebumps again!!.. Falsetto heaven! Love Hurts - Bee-oo-ti-ful! Tones just gorgeous! ooow, love the ending!! Fantastic!!! Working For The Man - rolls along nicely.. very singalongable.. California Blue - sounding kinda country, great tune! I like! ;D These are just first impressions - please indulge me. Overall, this is one helluva good album! Something for everyone ;D..and Brian, the live gigs are going to be MIND-BOGGLING! |

ONLY THE LONELY - love it, very mellow, but i was a bit worried the whole album might be mellow, oh no it's not!! CRYING - thought I didn't love this version as much as D's idol version. oh but I do  DREAM BABY - wow! not what I expected P. WOMAN - well I've said it over and over, I'm in love with it! : ;D HANDLE WITH CARE - never liked this song at all or T. Willburies, not enough Damien in it for me, maybe i will learn to love it if I can resist the temptation to skip to the next track, which is a problem (see below) YOU GOT IT - 'as above' Tracks 10 -14 just beautiful, didn't think I'd be into WORKING FOR THE MAN but I like it Time to take the time to read the album sleeve, the pics are to die for  |
