During my lunch break today I was walking through an arcade of shops and being played through the speakers was Damien singing "I DROVE ALL NIGHT" It certainly brightened up my day. ;D I always get a spring in my step when that happens, Bel. Awesome!

I've heard Pretty Woman twice when shopping at Target, so Damien must be on their playlist It made me stay there longer just to hear the end of the song!!

I just stopped in my tracks and tried to work out where it was coming from. I thought it was playing in one of the shops but no it was through the whole arcade for all to listen to.

I love how we're all so attuned to D's voice, we just FREEZE when we hear him in public- and smile like the proverbial Cheshire cat! Nice one, Bella! ;D

I also get so excited, when I hear D out in public. My old boss has opened her new shop and she has a copy of Roy in the CD player. Wish I was there ! I remember when we used to play CTW, without fail, everytime it was on, several people would ask who was singing. And of course I always went into a great long explanation that had people running off to get themselves a copy . I just know that ROY would get the same response as people recognise the songs, but wonder who's beautiful voice it is. And the other thing I am loving this year is that when I say "Damien Leith" . I no longer get the reponse "who?" or "isn't he that idol dude?". People actually know who he is It's taken 5 years . Any one else feel that?

That is very sad. I actually heard it on the radio and they said she had been in hospital since May? When was it now that Damien was with her in Nashville? I'm sure he will be devastated to learn of her death.
