? Why weren't there posters for this Cd? It would make a difference wouldn't it? Plenty of posters in my local JB HiFi ;D I asked about promo material at Trax and Sanity and neither had received anything  |

Just listened to the album for the first time!  (I know, I'm slow.  Good way to celebrate Roy's 75th birthday though, hearing the album for the first time.   So, I wasn't expecting to be a huge fan, but it is surprisingly good!   I don't usually like rap, and it was such a surprise to hear it in Dream Baby, but I actually like it and think it works quite well.  Great to hear Bobby singing in Handle With Care!  (He was my second favourite after D in AI 2006. Crying is amazing!  So glad D has finally recorded this! I love Pretty Woman as well, and it's awesome live! I didn't realise I already knew Handle With Care and You Got It. Love them too!  And I love I Drove All Night and She's a Mystery To me.  And Only The Lonely, and In Dreams and Blue Bayou, and pretty much all of them!  ... I still prefer RJ by FAR though!  Complaints (not about the music though ): - The "whose"/"who's" typo on the back (which has also appeared everywhere else). - The weird bit in the Glenn A. Baker piece, where it says "need to add in David Huff" ... sounds like they were editing it and put that in as a reminder for later, and then never actually got around to fixing it. :-\ The pics of D are verrry nice! Of course. Very interesting reading everyone's comments and opinions. And as usual Krissy, I loved reading your initial reactions. |

A nice little surprise yesterday. My SIL said that they had been listening to "ROY" and it's a fantastic album, loves it and Damien can really sing. This from a Metallica/Tool etc. heavy metal fan!!! |
