Damien to Support Carrie Underwood

I've been wondering how these shows went - so great to read that they were big hits and how wonderful that Damien sang almost half originals in his part of the gig!

Thanks Trilly, Princess and Roxy for the reports - shame it was only a small part of the whole show, but sounds memorable!!

Great to read the tweets from other concert attenders, thanks for tracking them down Braffy! No doubt, quite a few people who have never heard D before were impressed!

Roxy and I were chatting and we both suddenly realised we had forgotten to mention something that Damien said in both Melbourne and Brisbane. I guess we were both mesmerised by the music, most especially his gorgeous voice, but honestly, we've really let the s down sorry. .....because Damien said the reason he could reach such high notes was due to his tight underwear - he was wearing the mankini!!!

So glad Damien took these opportunities to sing some originals ... I'm assuming he's going to have to sing quite a few Roy songs at his own shows as that's what the majority of people will be there to hear, but as most of the people at Carrie's shows were there to see Carrie they probably wouldn't have cared that they didn't hear many Roy songs from D.

(In saying that, I REALLY hope Damien sings all of the originals from N&T on his own tour. )
