Yeah, well....I should have got in first!!! Nothing much left to say really as Dawn and Plugger have nailed it, Brian too.
Agree with Brian that Jorja has a beautiful voice, she did a few of her own originals which is pretty special for a 17 yo and some well known songs as well, pity I didn't write them down as they really won't come to mind One was Leaving on a Jet Plane. (There, brain works sometimes) Maybe one of the others can remember others. Something that does make me realise how old I am is the way the singers dress these days... not talking about Damien as he always looks fresh and cool. Jorja did as well, but shorts, top and sleeveless denim jacket didn't do it for me, sorry! I hope she does well as she is so young and has a great future ahead of her.
The Eric/Damien banter was tops, their friendship is a wonderful one it appears and it's great that it transfers into their professional appearances. Dawns's 'wude' pressie a hit as usual, D has such a
wonderful sense of humour and goes with the flow. The audience love it too, Mr Perfect can laugh at himself and has a great way of getting around it.
It appeared to me that D didn't really want to go home, he didn't start his set until around 10.15 and finished around 12.30, but seemed to be in no hurry as he leisurely consumed a Corona? and spoke to everybody, certainly not stingy with his time. I don't know how many CD's he sold as there was just he and Eric and it didn't look like too many to me. I would offer another time if he needed anybody to take the money and hand over the items, which would leave him free for signing.
I'll write a little more in the Hut, but a fantastic night and yes, believe it or not, Damien does get better and better !!
