I had a friend calling me on her mobile phone from the rehearsal so I could listen to Paulini (with the Young Divas) and to Damien. LOL
It was fantastic! Damien sounded AWESOME even over a mobile phone from way down here in tassie.
The crowd screamed so much I think I lost my eardrum.
It was so nice of my friend to do that for me - I felt like I was there. She also forgot about me on the other end of the phone and kept screaming loudly!!! But even with all the probs I thought Damien was impressive. He only sang that short version of Hallelujah which is frustrating. I wanna hear more of it.
BTW Apparently Ricki Lee was at another event last night so she couldnt make the rehearsal. But she'll be there tonight.
