I agree gj re: the Daniel hand thing - though he looks so happy and sweet, it's hard to be mean to him!! Darren Hayes - I really didnt' like that song - too much helium tonight! He was kind of weird, but, he did rock out and looked like he was having way too much fun!! I saw him live with Savage Garden and he was superb!!! Not quite so cute now - but then we are all getting older!! Damien - how divine!!! We bought a plasma widescreen tv this week and those eyes - so greeen - those eyelashes - so  Vanessa Am. was great - she is a cool rock chick.  Tarasai seemed a bit off tonight, didn't seem happy! Divas - well even Andrew G forgot to thank them!!  Oh plasma widescreen, awesome ;D I thought Darren, Vanessa and Damien were all brilliant tonight. They were the definite stand outs. Yeah, you can't be mean to Daniel, he's a really nice guy ;D Oh god don't start me on the Divas or Tarisai |

Ok, bash me up..bwah!.. I know Daniel is a nice guy, he's sweet, but he really can't sing very well.. *flees for her life* I think it was pretty intimidating for the 6 Idolists to perform tonight on that stage with the other singers on show... I mean Katie and Damien alone is enough to send them fleeing to the hills...... They have had a big week a few songs to learn and two again on Sunday......... |

They would of been better off having the idols perform first and then all the other artists second. It would be really hard performing in between 2 established acts.

Can't wait to see some screencaps..  I'm a bit disappointed that D didn't do an original. I love his version of Songbird, but how many times has he performed it now? I agree with Braffy, SLTS would have been perfect - I love that song more and more everytime I hear it |

I agree with Braffy, SLTS would have been perfect - I love that song more and more everytime I hear it I much would of preferred an original. Covers are for the Young Divas, Carl Risely and Tarisai Vushe and the current idols. Damien has so many fantastic original songs. SLTS is not one of my fave originals though. Beautiful would of been perfect (is that what you said gj). There's heaps of great originals he could of chosen. |

I've never really seen Darren sing before very much, was never a SG fan. Tonight I thought it was pretty weird like a few of you have noted, but I started getting into it, helium voice, JT suit (which I recognise thanks to OzBrat ) and all. By the end I was really enjoying it, it seemed to get going well when the dancing started. So, I agree, weird, but kind of good weird!  |
