I think this site is the best fan club and being able to (or prepared to) fork out money at any given turn is definitely not necessarily of being a bigger fan than anyone else. I'm happy to buy his CDs, pay for concert tickets, catch the train to Sydney at 5am to see him sing, but for me that is all stuff that will help support his career as a singer/songwriter. From what I've read the whole fan club thing that's being discussed on this thread sounds a bit dodgy to me. You're right Christine - with D and E taking an interest in this site (even to the point that everyone is thanked on the CD/DVD), then what can a fan club off that this site can't.
This site is always first with all the info on appearances and any other news - it's even way ahead of the official site. It gives me everything I could possibly need from a fan club.

I for one will always call this Site HOME, THE FIRST, THE BEST, THE ORIGINAL DAMIEN LEITH FAN CLUB SITE.

Something I did notice, though...that once they were saying that people who sign would get a phone call...now they are saying an SMS from the star. Like...call me cynical....(again) but how easy is it to fake SMSes for the gullible?
Very dodgy.

Yeah an sms is nothing. The whole thing seems more dodgy than legit.
