Well to help combat your post D blues - I went to my local K-Mart today to buy D's single and guess what - THEY HAD SOLD OUT!!!!! The assistant must have thought I was mad when I said "that is so great!! Now have to wait till next stock in!!! Don't care - I'm stoked! That is just BRILLIANT!!!! Damien is such an amazing talent that I'd hate to see him suffer the curse of Idol 2 & 3 It sounds like there's no worries there ;D

Did you have to remind me of Lee Harding? I had erased that heap of garbage from my memory. Well I think the nightmares will keep haunting us for the rest of our lives...

On a positive note, thinking of 'Wasabi' really makes one realise that 'Night Of My Life' isn't such a bad song, after all.

What's sadder - Wasabi actually got radio airplay and went to No 1. There's no accounting for taste! I saw a Lee Harding CD in the bargin bin at Sanity or HMV not too long ago - you could buy it for $2.95. ;D Hopefully, such a fate never befalls our man, Mr Damien Leith.

NoML by itself is a bland and dull song, though Damien totally transformed that song. By the way.............. talking about Wasabi made me stupidly searched for the video (I've never seen it before though I kept hearing on the radio). Anyway... gah, that is vomit-inducing. Eeeppp, what a midnight horror and I'm pretty sure now that it's gonna bring me nightmare

She's like a tsunami Can wipe out an army With a blink of an eye, she can part the red sea
Bwahahaha. So delicately topical!! That Reilly bloke's a veritable freakin Shakespeare by comparison.

I'm petrified to some that some people actually think that it's a good song *reading the youtube comments*
Enough of Wasabi, I think I'm having chilli sauce from now on. Such a shame, because I love wasabi (the sauce, not the song)

You sadden me knocking other songs and artists. My daughter has both Wasabi and The Prayer. But guess who is going to have the big D and turn it up sooooo loud?

Ah thebraff you're right it's not be the nicest thing to do, but I'm sure there's no real malice meant by anyone. Just some cathartic light-hearted bashing, stemming from a fear that Damien will get 'railroaded' and not be able to produce the music he really wants to produce.

I went out and got my copy today!!!! Still haven't even heard the studio version, when I get finished here I'll put it on and have a nice listen. I found my copy at JB, and bought it with teen-like glee - but also looked at Sanity out of curiosity & couldn't see it there. Lol, and in nothing to do with anything, I dreamt Andrew G sat on my knee while I was at the hairdressers. And he started talking to me about Vegan food!!! This is probably a sign I'm watching too much Idol lately, ha ha. And, a message for my subconscious, if you're going to give me these dreams - then please get the *correct* Idol personality into them!!!!! LOL!

I was NOT knockin The Prayer - in fact I love it so much. I even help out by sending copies overseas. About Wasabi... I was just expressing my bewilderement that it reaches no. 1 that's all. I think I threw any bagging or insult RIghtio... I'm off getting a copy of Damien's single. They better have it this time!

Heeeeeeee......I bought my very own copy of NOML today! yay! I was a leeetle peeved that JB HIFI (again, one of the very few aria chart stores in Melbourne to actually have it in stock) didnt have it up the front with the new releases...it was with the singles. Yesterday it was right up the front of the store, first thing you saw when you entered..I had to hunt for a wee while today. That being said, it was with all the new release singles...they are arranged in big stacks by title...NOML had the least in number, its area looked a little sparse...the shopassistant refilled while I was standing there...it must be moving quite quickly ;D Some things I love about the physical single: - Its green! (and a lovely shade too...)
- NOML is listed on the sleeve to be from the forthcoming Idol Journey CD/DVD...I like that this song is included in the world of "Idol", and may not necessarily be on his first real album. I dont know, but theres something very comforting about that. Like Sony are serious about launching him as a musician in his own right after getting the Idol stuff out of the way....
- Come to Me has D credited as writer AND producer. And he dont sing it so bad either Seriously though, I think thats so impressive. He has a major release with Sony, not only as the performer but as a writer and producer. Schweeeeet!
