Dicksmith Powerhouse is AWESOME - 2 bucks for a single!!! It's my favourite place to buy singles, unlike Target where they sell it for 4.45.

Not fair *stomp* why couldn't I have a nice assistant when i bought my CD's *stomps again*? Still really peeved with BigW.
I am so in love with Come to Me - it plays in my head all the time. Actually I am a bit over NOML - as much as Damien rearranged it well and put his own stamp on it - it still stinks of the pretentious Idol marketing - sorry don't hate me for that *ducks* - Damien did the best he could with a bad job...he's an f#@*$ing genius

I'm actually growing to love NOML even more now I have the actual single. To me that song will always be associated with Damien during his time on Idol (which is, I guess, the point of the song) and particularly the finale and how brilliant it was, and for that reason it just makes me happy to hear it, cheesiness and all. Heck, it just makes me giggle to hear what Damien did to it. But then I'm a sucker for cheesy Idol songs. I quite enjoy them. With the exception of Listen With Your... *is shot for repetitiveness* But Come To Me... gee, wow. No comparison, eh? I adore the piano; it's so haunting. Sometimes I listen to that more than the vocals. I hope SonyBMG are reading all of this and hear that we want to see more Damien Leith production credits on the future album...

Come To Me - I felt rather bad one day, my MP3 player was in my hand, the head phones screwing up ... this song was playing and all i heard was the piano - it was absolutly beautiful

Positive news from my area - my mother checked in Target today to see how Damien's single was selling, and there are only three copies left. I'm fairly sure they got more than six copies in yesterday afternoon (two bought by my mother and at least one by another woman who came by), so things are looking good here! There are none in Big W at the moment, so we're hoping they got some in and sold out already. (Anthony Callea's album is selling well too, for anyone who's interested. )

Bought a copy from Borders at Bondi Junction today - only 3 left. But had to hunt for them upstairs - at the checkouts they had Anthony Callea and Il Divo stacked at each.

I so wonder where that place is. Cause here the singles are $4.44 from Big W/Target or $5 from other music stores. You are so lucky living near that place. And is that place ARIA accredied?

I too wish this Powerhouse place existed where I live. Short of them being nice and selling it cheap, singles here are never any less than $4-5. And the selection sucks too. When I make my first million I'm planning regular shopping trips to the mainland!

Check in your state if you have Dick Smith Powerhouse, Jim. Everything there is so cheap, CDs/DVDs ! The last time I check, the stores are ARIA accredited - which makes me love it even more. Apart from Dick Smith Powerhouse, I think JB HI-FI is the next cheap option. I don't know about you guys... but JB HI-FI in my area sells singles for $3
