I would just like to point out something I've only just picked up on after hearing an interveiw with Damien ...
"It's about unrequited love, the, you know, loving someone from afar but never actually having the courage to go and knock on the door, or go up and say hi."
This is soo much like the message Guy Sebastian's new song has - "Cover On My Heart". This is about seeing someone you love everyday and not being able to tell them how you feel, and then one day you are ready, but they aren't there.
I love that. It is a pretty cool message, and people can relate to it. Having now know the meaning of the song (I said I was slow
) I think I shall be off to have another listen.
