I've been trying to book tickets for the Palms at Crown show and Launceston and Hobart as Greg wants to go, they don't have it listed on any of those 3 sites  , oh dear!!!!! |

 The show was just brilliant! I guess I dont want to say to much about it yet either only for those that have not seen it yet. I dont want to spoil it. Had the audience captivated at one point.....could not hear a pin drop. Many had tears at one point, then the next you are laughing again. So, so clever...... Have booked tickets to Albury, glawzy and Nixter I think are goers. It is an exciting time. Oh listening to orhers at the show......enjoyed by all.

Oh yeah!! What a bewdy! Damien never ceases to amaze me and boy, was he in good voice. The acoustics at Chapel off Chapel were excellent and it was an almost full house for the matinee. Some of the girls went back for the night show but as it was a terribly busy night in Melbourne (Chinese NY, White Light Festival, Soundwaves, and more) Maria and I decided we didn't want to get caught up in all that when we went back to the city to come home. They had a few glitches with the lighting, but Damien, the trooper that he is, just went on without a blink! Band excellent too and the harmonies with Damien were just music to the ears. I personally, was blown away by Damien's acting ability - he should be snapped up for a movie or a TV series or something, brilliant and no sign of nervousness. Loved every second of it, brilliant play, brilliant music, brilliant man!    Left out the good part.... complete standing ovation. Spoke to a few ladies in the loo afterwards and they were rapt. I heard the man sitting behind us say to his wife that it was the best show he's ever been to!!! Of course struck up a conversation with him and told him how wonderful D was, and about the new album. Speaking to Damien after the show, I asked if all the tour was going to be the Parting Glass and he said yes, except maybe Palms at Crown which would focus on the album. I said to him, "Helloooooo" you should have pushed the album this afternoon, and he said maybe he should have. I told him he had another opportunity tonight to do so. Hope one of the girls who attended the second show can tell us if he actually did. He also said that he would be slightly varying the music from show to show.
