Thank you everyone for the wonderful reports. It's good to know that Damien is mixing it up a bit. I would have been disappointed too, not to have heard something from Remember June. How funny was that at his first concert and getting his 7th album wrong? Doh! It's in the title Damien......Chapter Seven. It's also great that we have had someone at each of his shows. Obviously this won't last but I'm sure the people who attend any of his shows will have an amazing time. Thank you once again everyone.

Thanks Sue and Spud - great to hear your takes on the shows you attended. I would have loved to have done the BM but when it was announced we already had our air fares to Newcastle booked. It never ceases to amaze me how kind Damien is with his meet and greets, he is so patient! I'll keep an eye out for that DVD Spud. If you can't get it at your next show maybe I could pick one up for you. Just let me know.

Oh, cool, thanks, Glawz! If I get a chance to talk to D again I might ask him whether he's planning to sell them in his online store at all first, before you go to all that trouble. But yeah, thanks for offering!
Forgot to mention, I'm pretty sure D played Golden Line at Brass Monkey, and (according to his video on Facebook today) it sounds like he's added Goodnight to the set list since then too. The more RJ the better, I say! Same with C7.

Was anyone else at the Bankstown show last night? I was, and it was awesome! Kikki and Eils were there too, so I had a chat to them. It was my first time meeting Kikki. She was there with her friend and they were dancing on stage after the show ended. So cute! Best part of the show.
Pretty good mix of songs, and it was awesome to hear the full band play, because at Brass Monkey it was just Eric, Jess, and Damien. I think the only originals they played were Remember June and Beautiful (unless I'm forgetting something), and normally I would notice the lack of originals and be sad, but it was such a good show that I didn't really mind. I guess now that I think about it, I was sort of expecting to hear Goodnight after Damien mentioned it in the Facebook video on Friday, but they didn't play it. I requested You & I when the band temporarily left the stage, but Damien couldn't remember it. He sang the first few lines and then got stuck, and I called out the next line, so he sang that, and then he couldn't remember the one after, so I called that out too, and after about three lines of me calling out the lyrics and him singing them, he said he obviously couldn't continue that way, and stopped. Then I asked him to skip to the chorus, so he sang a bit of the chorus, and that was it. Oh well. Good enough! But I reckon if they practise it for later shows with the full band, it could sound really good.
After chatting to Damien last night, I think maybe it's actually a CD (not a DVD) that he's going to be selling. But yeah, he still didn't have them. Anyway, all good, because I got to hear him live, which is much better than listening to a CD! If you read this, Damien, thanks for another awesome show!

DEE WHY RSL September 24, 2016 This show started not too long after 8pm and the Band came out first: Eric, Chris, Cesar and Steve. Then Damien arrived centre stage in black jacket, black jeans, white T with black pattern and white joggers. We started the night with a much appreciated * Golden Line RJ and D then * The Blower's Daughter (Can't Take My Eyes Off You) and * Message to My Girl followed with the Eric coaxed * Celebrate plus the bouncing around * Crying is always a favourite and * Night of My Life and because we had the members of the Chilettes * Beautiful with Cesar and Steve both on flutes, then * Vincent followed by * Wild World and * Penny Arcade Then an Intermission Damien came out on stage to begin a solo and requests session * Waiting on an Angel followed by small sections of * You and I and * Faith in Me. Chris came out to perform with Damien * Tenterfield Saddler. I then gave Damien his gift (it growled) Roarrr to the talented Damien Leith, you make us all rooaar. The full band came back and performed * Leah and the wedding song * Creep, then the Wilbury's * Handle With Care and then a couple of Irish songs * Rocky Road to Dublin and * Galway Girl (Chris on Accordian), then * Goodnight After a rowdy call for encore * Never Meant to Fail (thank you so much) * Hallelujah with Sleepwalker and * Nessun Dorma We had a very lively group at our table. It was great to catch up with Braffy and her long time friend. Sadly, Maggiemay was unable to make it to the club, was very disappointed for her. Carla and her DH had a great time with so many of Carla's special songs and Trilly was also attending. We had a wave from 2Damienfans and we were all able to catch up with each other and Damien at the end of the show. It was great that Damien was promoting his merchandise and it seemed to do well. Damien was very obliging with his fans as usual and it was highly appreciated.

Thanks Dawn. It was a fabulous night. We were in a table of 6 which seemed to merge with the table of 6 behind us. We had the front 4 seats (minus MaggieMay and I had the feeling that the other 2 people had liked Damien for a long time but had never seen him in concert before. With turning their chairs sideways to view the stage they started a conversation with the people behind them, who had turned their chairs also and we pretty much ended up as a table of 12 and every single one had a fabulous time and were showing it with their applause and chair dancing. The man next to me was 'oh yeah-ing' after every song, clapping at the beginning when he heard what the song was and he was a delight to be next to. Carla and DH had made the trip there as part of her birthday weekend (happy birthday for today Carla ) and I don't know if Damien knew it was or not but as the songs started coming I wa thinking Carla would love that, Carla would love that etc. I thought it was a terrific mix of songs and sounded fabulous with the full band minus Jess who is currently in the US. It was a surprise to see Trilly who had decided at the last moment to fly over from SA. Well done Trilly. Also to see 2DamienFans as well. We didn't get to have a long chat after the show so I'm not sure if they were able to do any if their high quality videos. The stage area was very dark though so they may not turn out very well if they did. Thank you Damien, Eric, Chris, Cesar and Steve for a fantastic show. I'm glad I have 3 more that I will be going to. In true Damienites fashion we took the 'scenic route' on the way home which didn't help Dawn and her motion sickness. It was terrific though to see Dawn again. Damien is still trying to work out what his gift was haha *roar* If you don't have a ticket to a show, try and get one. There are still shows left.

Thank you Dawn and Braffy, of course I knew you'd have a great night. Your reports always make me feel as though I was there, (but unfortunately not) - I guess Ive been to so many shows I can envisage the scene. Gosh, I hope he does some RJ at Palms.
Nicki and I have Ballarat this coming Friday, Sue and her DH and I think Di and and Ali are going to both shows as well, maybe Trilly too, not sure. Then the following night we go to Wangaratta and meet up with the Plugz' - they decided they are not taking Benj this time and he will be at his gran's at Euroa, pity because we had the ticket. Plugz is taking two other couples along, Damien virgins and it will be interesting to hear what they think.
I have another 8 shows to go to, 6 after this weekend. Thinking of giving D a list of the shows I'm going to with a list of my fav songs, hopefully he can sneak one or two of my suggestions over that many shows!

Yes, what a great night in Dee Why! THANK YOU SO MUCH, DAMIEN & BAND, FOR A FANTASTIC SHOW!!! Besides, it was a pleasure to meet you again, Braffy and Dawn. Unfortunately it was not possible to have long chats with you. The situation after the show was a little bit hectic because we had to see not to miss Damien and we had to organize to get the big Damien poster. We have recorded nearly every song, mostly in high quality (in spite of the darkness). Of course, we would like to share the songs with you. The question is which songs would you prefer? Tonight we will post the video "Faith in Me" to our YouTube channel. Braffy, would you please have a look tomorrow and transfer this video to the DLO website (and perhaps to Damien's Facebook or so)? Many thanks! (More videos will follow in the next days or nights.) Cheers 2DamienFans
