I just rang the venue and they said that everyone that already has tickets just keeps their original tickets and seats. It's all transferred to the new date and in their system. The lady on the phone did say they would offer refunds if people can't make it on the new date, but I certainely won't be asking for a refund. Another Damien show to get excited for

ha I rang today as well Julie and the lady apologised because they didn't ring until too late (around 7) and was surprised that no email had been sent since. But yes, use the same tickets next time

LAUNCESTON SHOW, 11TH NOVEMBER 2016 Great to see a full house for this one, even the upstairs part which they don't always open. Damien was in 'WOW' voice mode, and you could tell he was thrilled with the feedback from the audience, they sure do love him down there. Also the meet and greet is always something special, with Jess and Eric doing the merchandise and Damien doing the socialising with all the fans. I didn't do a set list but we managed to write down all the songs he did from memory, and although they're not in order you can still get the drift.
Never Forget (Chapter 7) Blower's Daughter Crying Hallelujah Penny Arcade You Got It Black Velvet Band Danny Boy Rocky Road to Dublin 22 Steps Drop the Feathers 500 Miles Unchained Melody Faith in Me Beautiful, on the piano To Make you feel my love (on Piano) gorgeous! Wicked Game Blue Bayou Wild World (piano I think, can't remember!) Nessun Dorma
Standing ovation of course, he sang everything so beautifully, in spite of a few hiccups with forgotten words!

HOBART SHOW - 12.11.16
Once again a sell out crowd and there were quite a lot of younger people at this show, by young I mean not geriatric although the oldies turned out in force as well. Sue and I had front row seats on the side which was a good spot, but they had put another three rows of chairs in front to fit more people in, it was in the smaller venue, so we didn't mind as the 'first' row that we were in was elevated so we could see right over their heads. There were a couple of ladies in the front row who were as fissed as parts, and were calling out for requests all night, wanted all the Irish songs so they had a good go from Damien but in the end he said no, you've had your turn, time for somebody else. They annoyed us!! The crowd once again loved him, even better audience than at Launceston and another standing ovation, his voice was in top form, dreamy! Once again they pulled out the paino and it's lovely to see Damien step away from the guitar and mike for a change, he's such a competent musician. Below is the set list in the correct order, a few different ones from last night but the old favourites still there.
Not Just for the Weekend Wicked Game If Tomorrow Never Comes Message to my girl Unchained Melody I'll be your baby tonight Piano Wild World Piano The Parting Glass, slow version with some Irish variations, very nice but not the whole song. Crying Drop the Feathers To Make You Feel my love Danny Boy Stronger than Superman MY WAY, OMG, THIS WAS SENSATIONAL!!!!!! It came out so much better live than the FB one. You Got it Galway Girl Vincent Rocky Road to Dublin Cockles and mussels Hallelujah Black Velvet Band Handle me with Care Nessun Dorma

Wow!!! sounds fantastic...thank you so much Glawz it's great there were 2 sell outs, but a shame about the pissed ladies There were some great songs in there. I can tell you had a wonderful time both nights. Hope some of the shows coming up pick up more people attending as he really bounces off the walls when there's a large, enthusiastic crowd

Thanks girls, yes we had an awesome weekend, it was so good to have shows two nights running but then you have the letdown! Still in a Coma and Cloud 9 at the same time, you know how it is!! Have been trying to push the Palms show on FB, disappointing sales of seats. Damien said it would be a great show anyway but there's still nearly 2 weeks for the tickets to go. A friend said he'd heard it on 3AW but that's an oldies station, never mind, bums on seats is what we want. If you have ever been to Palms, it is a beautiful venue, the booths are selling well but the on floor seating is not going so well. Will keep an eye on it. Mandurah, Western Australia. 17/11/2016 Damien, Eric Aranda and Jess Graham were the musicians for this show. The setlist was 'Never Forget' from Chapter Seven. I don't recall hearing this in concert before 'Wicked Game' 'Blowers Daughter' - Damien told the story of this being his audition song 'Unchained Melody' 'Creep' - Damien mentioned it was his and Eileen's wedding song 'Not Just For The Weekend' '22 Steps' - a request from Tina in the audience 'Only the Lonely' 'Penny Arcade' 'Rocky Road to Dublin' Interval Damien came back out on his own 'You & I ' - a request from the lady in the front right here 'Crying' Eric and Jess rejoined Damien on stage 'Songbird' 'Wild World' 'Vincent' - with the traditional errors in a couple of verses 'My Way' - mentioned how they were mucking around in Qld and filmed them singing this, posted it on Facebook now it gets requested 'Everybody's Talking' 'Hallelujah' Encore 'Toss the Feathers' 'Nessun Dorma' Damien sounded good but he was tired. They arrived today and with the 3 hour time difference it was a really long day because they were on a very early flight from Sydney. I know how knackered I felt last Saturday night after I arrived in WA from Sydney. It was 11pm body clock time for Damien and co when they went on stage. They have a long drive tomorrow to get to Albany and then on Saturday an even longer drive from Albany back to Perth. I will also be at the Perth show, so I will do another report then.

Thanks Braffy, Damien looked tired in Tassie too, hope he doesn't tire of touring!! It's a huge tour this time. Was it a full house? He did Never Forget in Launnie too. He's varying the shows a little but leaving the really popular songs in. Did you just love My Way? I thought it was to die for!
Look forward to hearing your report on the Perth show too. Have fun over there, beautiful part of the world.
