Hi Braffy & Dawn, Many thanks for your nice compliments on our Damien video "Faith in Me"! We are very happy about it. Braffy, a special thank you for posting the video to the DLO website. Would it be possible to give this great video to Damien's website or Facebook? We think he would like it, too. Last night we transfered another video from the Dee Why show to our YouTube channel: the song "Creep". Could you please have a look again, Braffy? Thanks. We hope to meet you both on November 26. Will you be there? (As you know, that is the day of the "Idol" finale 10 years ago!) Cheers, 2DamienFans

Yes 2DamienFans I have already posted it to Facebook and on Damien's page. I will look for Creep now. I would LOVE to be at North Sydney on 26th November, especially since it is the actual 10 year anniversary but I have 3 shows already in November - the 5th at Cessnock and the 17th and 19th in Mandurah and Perth, WA. (Love Damien, will travel ) 2DamienFans - thank you so much for this one too Please check your messages as I have sent you one.

Thank you so much for the video 2DamienFans, it is fantastic. Looking forward to seeing some more. I love that song, it has become my support this year, the lyrics mean so much and have inspired me.
Ballarat show was fantastic, just Damien and Eric, (also just the two of them at Wangaratta) but it was still awesome. Honestly he is in such good voice, absolutely perfect pitch and tone and the songs were great, very popular with the crowd. He repeated about half of the Ballarat songs at Wang, but the others were different, great variety. Sue said she will come in and post the setlist for Wangaratta, I think there were 24 songs. Crowds were down in both venues but the ones there were very enthusiastic and why wouldn't they be... Damien was soooo wonderful. Funny, threw in a couple of jokes which are no doubt doing the rounds with him. Did nothing from RJ though although he did Last Sad Song at Wang, that was a lovely surprise. He's getting better at the patter. Another surprise was 'In Dreams' ... could have heard a pin drop.
My thoughts are that he may not return to some of these venues where he's not being supported, but speaking to people there there wasn't much publicity there - I think he was on the radio but it was also a shame that it was the AFL Grand Final weekend, and a long weekend in Victoria (bloody ridiculous having a holiday for a footy game) - I hope that's the only reason the numbers were down. Around 250 at Ballarat in a venue which holds maybe 500, a few less at Wangaratta but those in attendance were Damien loyals. The older couple sitting near us at Wang loved him from Idol and had bought the Roy CD. They were so very impressed with the voice which just keeps getting better and better, the power in his lower register, those really high chest notes and the falsetto ... all blew us away. I told them to keep a check on Damien's web site for news of future tours and dates. Maria's friends "Damien Virgins" said they now know why she loves him so much and when's the next show! Maria's own Damian hadn't seen Damien since the early days, first show at Milano's I think, and he couldn't believe how good he is now. Maria said he was talking about it all the way down to pick up Benj!
I'll be in teh coma for the rest of the week, just starting to revive when I get to Morwell for another shot!! How great it is to feel this pumped!

Thanks so much for your report Glawz. It is do good to hear how respect is given for songs like In Dreams. Fortunately the same thing happened at Dee Why faith Hallelujah. What a shame the numbers were down. I suppose if you don't know it is on then you can't buy tickets for it. I saw a post on Facebook where someone was saying that they wished he would come to Hamilton (VIC) at some stage. Someone replied that he would be there in 2 weeks. That person had no idea he was going to be there. I will look forward to seeing the set list but what a shame nothing from Remember June. Ah, the Damien virgins were running true to form. Hear the voice and you are forever. It's lovely that Plugz's Damian got to hear Damien live again and notice the growth and improvement (not that any was needed).

Thanks so much for the report Glawz. Knew you'd have a wonderful time and great that so many are enjoying as first timers. What a shame the publicity has been so scant. Folk like my mum wouldn't have a clue (even 20 years ago when she was 70) as she only listens to the ABC and doesn't have a computer. She is however saving a cutting for me from the local paper re the show in Cessnock Great that Damian was able to hear Damien again aaahhh a shame about no RJ songs but great to hear he did Last Sad Song. Looking forward to seeing the set list and thanks for the memory refresher Glawz.

Hi everyone sorry it's taken me a bit of time to get in here, I've been busy with assignments and other stuff, I managed to remember all of the songs Damien sang at Wangaratta, there were quite a few and as Glawz said they were different I unfortunately can't remember the ones from Ballarat, I do remember though that he sang Unchained Melody as a request from me Any the songs in no order at all were: Faith In Me With Or Without You Creep Blowers Daughter Waiting On An Angel Crying Hallelujah In Dreams Alone Stairway To Heaven (and yes he did nearly the whole song Nessum Dorm Happy Birthday (to 2 ladies in the audience) Beautiful You Are So Beautiful I'll Be Your Baby Tonight Vincent Guitar Man Last Sad Song Halfway Heart Unchained Melody Tenterfield Saddler Fall At Your Feet Night Of My Life Rocky Roiad To Dublin Lot's of songs, he was on fire, his voice was perfect and yes I'm in heaven (sighs )

Morwell show - disappointing number of attendees, they put the show in a smaller, more intimate room, probably about 150. They were all enthusiastic though, loved the show and of course Damien always draws on the energy in the room. He was funny, said he had a cold and felt sorry for the people in the front row as he was spitting all over them, LOL, comments through the night about the 'spray' which he could see in the lights but they couldn't! His voice was a little under normal but still a lot better than most people can sing, and he managed all the high notes, just a couple of tiny wavers after which he grinned! I didn't write down the set list but will have a go at remembering, not in order. Standing ovation at the end again.
The usuals, Hallelujah, Crying, Wicked Game, Nessun Dorma, Danny Boy, Rocky Road to Dublin, Galway Girl (hilarious with Eric trying to make the guitar sound like Sharon Shannon! Message to my girl If Tomorrow never comes Beautiful If Penny Arcade Carrickfergus Stronger than Superman Handle with Care She's a mystery to me (request, but only sang half, forgot words, said he would try to include it in future shows as he likes the song.) Running Scared Shake Rattle and Roll?? will check with the others Another Irish song I'd never heard before, a request I'm sorry, can't remember any more and there were a couple of surprises. If I remember I'll post later.
Poor Damien and Eric. The 'tour arrangers' have no idea at all about distances between venues. The boys were in Warrnambool on Friday Night, and it's about a 7 hour drive to Morwell. It would have been more sensible to put Ballarat and Warrnambool together, a little bit closer, probably save a couple of hours on the road. I spoke to Damien after the show and said he did extremely well with a cold, but he said it was more of an allergy type thing, spring pollens I guess. The Meet and Greet crowd consisted of just about all 150 audience I think, and he was so generous with his time, everybody waited patiently to talk to him, they sold heaps of merchandise Eric said.
One of the reasons maybe the audience was down is that Morwell is a low socio-economic area, lots of unemployed due to shutdowns of power stations etc. I asked one of the venue staff if the event had been advertised and she said yes, it had been on radio, posters around town and in the local paper... unfortunately people don't realise just how good Damien is!!

Thank you so much Glawz Sounds like a great night in spite of small numbers. Still, some venues are that small to start off with. Yes, he is very generous with his time and for some folk that would have been such a special moment to catch up with him That's great that so much merchandise sold . Yes, well you can see the tour organisers don't have to do the miles, they really should check it out. Sounds like an interesting mix of music too

Sounds like a lovely intimate gig Glawz. Poor Damien with allergies, I know how he feels! I've been through two packets of hay fever tablets in the last two weeks. I can't imagine singing with blocked sinuses and so forth. Sounds like Damien's a real trooper to still put on a good show
