This will be the first book I have bought/read in nearly 20 years.

I just don't get time or the inclination to read. Unless of course you count gossip magazines and books on how to raise teenagers..haha!

Actually come to think about it....I am 36 and the last book I read was in year 12 so I was 17 so it has almost been 20 years. YIKES.
Any wonder I have a limited vocabulary now days! (that...and the fact that my 5 kids have sucked all signs of intelligence out of me)

October 1 - brilliant! I've been pushing myself to read one book a month this year, and at least the pressure will be on with this one to read it before the rest of you.

I love the revamped cover - the other version was great too but this is more gripping I think. Is it my imagination, or when they showed it on Idol was there a man walking at the bottom of the book? Or am I going even more mad than previously thought?

This is the 3rd cover they have shown. Maybe the official book will be different again. 1st October is a public holiday (in NSW at least anyway)

Yes now I wonder which will be the cover then, this one or the one we saw on Idol - I also wonder will this be a hardcover or a paperback? Either way, I'm just happy to be able to read it at last!
